These terms & conditions constitute a binding contract between the customer and GSM Solutions, our Subsidiaries or agents. By contacting us you agree we can contact you with details about our services or products. The customer accepts these T&Cs by using this website, making a purchase, using/sending an item for service, paying a deposit or placing an order.
Due to increasing credit card and cheque payment fraud, GSMsolutions will ONLY accept these payments from the owner of the credit card or cheque account. We will always verify these payments against the registered address of the credit card and confirm all cheques are legal with the relevant bank before sending out any items. When you make a purchase on GSMsolutions your IP details are recorded for security reasons and we will use them on the event of credit card or PayPal chargeback. Credit card fraud is a serious offence. Any attempts to fraudulently obtain products from GSMsolutions will result in prosecution to the full extent of the law. More about payments can be found here.
YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT:
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. GSMsolutions and it’s associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.
SMS ORDER NOTIFICATIONS:
In addition to the standard email notifications of when your order status has changed you will also receive an SMS notification when your order ships. We have designed this service to keep you up-to-date and be more efficient. To stop this service simply reply “stop sms” to the sms message and your number will be removed. You can also Email Us to have your number removed.
DELIVERIES / COLLECTIONS:
All parcels sent/collected with DPD Ireland from the Republic of Ireland, with the exception of ‘Goods carried but not insured’ have standard liability cover of €15.00 per kilo, per consignment.

OEM products and descriptions: All product images on our website are for illustration purposes only. If the product you order is unavailable we reserve the right to replace the item with a product of similar spec. We use a combination of original and OEM products. Images may display original product but same spec OEM product may be shipped. Please contact us before you order if you wish to enquire if the product is original or OEM.
What is OEM?
An original equipment manufacturer, or OEM product refers to the company that originally manufactured the product. When referring to electronic parts, OEM designates a replacement part made by the manufacturer of the original.
For instance, most Apple products are made by Foxconn NOT Apple themselves as most people assume. When Foxconn make a product for Apple Inc, Apple will then sell the product under their brand with fancy packaging. Foxconn can then supply the same product without the packaging and Apple logo to other companies, this product is basically the same and is called an OEM product.

We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. GSMsolutions do not disclose customer information to third parties, ever. We strongly believe in the privacy rights of an individual, and as such have ensured that all sensitive information is held in a database that individual staff do not have access to. Credit card numbers and details are encrypted and stored on a trusted server with bank-level security installations protecting it. At GSMsolutions customer satisfaction is paramount and we aim to provide the best possible service as outlined within our policy. Turnaround times for services are only estimates and can vary. We are not responsible for loss of data – data may be deleted in repair process. Software updates, restore or reset may relock your phone. I confirm I have left no SIM cards/ Memory cards/Accessories unless stated above. No refunds whatsoever for special order items. Deposits are non-refundable unless item is unavailable.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. Items returned for multiple reoccurring faults may be refunded for the latest repair providing they are returned within the warranty period. We provide 1-month warranty on sales & repairs. Items must be returned within 1 month for any claims. Cracked screens are not covered under warranty. Returns under warranty will not be accepted after our 1-month warranty period or if any other company opens item. Our warranty covers labour and any parts that we replaced. Items not collected within two months will be disposed to recover costs.
I agree to be contacted with details of our services and products via sms, telephone, mail or over the internet and allow use of my data or images to be accessed, shared, published or copied for repair purposes. You will invalidate your 1-month warranty if you remove or tamper with any security/warranty labels we place on repaired device or purchased item. If the exact same fault occurs while still under the 1-month warranty the unit will be fixed free of charge providing the fault is caused by failure of the same part we replaced. As a goodwill gesture, if your item is returned during the 1-month warranty with an unrelated fault or after that month we can fix at a mutually agreed charge. Under the Sale of Goods Act 1980 if an item is found to have a manufacturer fault we will repair or replace within our warranty period providing it has not been tampered with or damaged and providing you have your receipt.
We assume no responsibility for defective plating and plating service is non-refundable. Electronic repair processes can cause further irreversible damage when attempted due to factory seals being broken or sealed components been disassembled, particularly in water damage and motherboard faults.
I will not hold GSMsolutions responsible for the loss or accidental damage to any item left in for service due to attempted repair. No Returns unless faulty on consumables including repair components/data cables/repair tools/batteries/chargers/memory/ software/books/SIM cards or any device that is inserted into your ear. We only offer refunds on items unless they cannot be repaired or replaced, in that case all accessories/parts must be returned in as-new unused condition. No Returns without receipt. Old parts are disposed. No collections without receipt or ID. Photocopies of receipt are not accepted.
Please wait for call/text or email before coming to collect your item. We reserve the right to replace your item with a similar item if yours cannot be fixed. Items fixed for free which are out of warranty carry no further warranty. No warranty on customer part. Your warranty will be void unless you have it fixed by the manufacturer agent. Old parts may be missing when you get your item back.Batteries in used items are not covered under warranty. T&Cs are subject to change without notice. No returns on lcd screens that have 3 or less faulty pixels.You are advised to check our website www.GSMsolutions.ie for the latest T&Cs. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Water proof electronics:
When is comes to sealing water proof cameras, mobile phones or other electronics some manufacturers require annual replacement of seals for any extended warrantee to remain in force. While the seals themselves are a minor component GSMsolutions DO NOT guarantee the item will be water proof after we have repaired or attempted the repair of said item. We don’t provide warranty for seals in any circumstance.

Instore Returns Policy
If you’re unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Faulty items must be within 30 days.
If a faulty item is returned as sold and is accompanied by the original receipt within a 30 day period, we can replace, repair or refund you in full by the original payment method, or offer you an exchange, or offer you a GSMsolutions gift card to the value. If the original purchase was made with a credit/debit card, that card must be physically present and available when the refund is made.
Unfortunately, refunds will be refused for items returned without an original receipt or proof of purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse a return under this policy, if the goods are not in a re-saleable, as sold condition. As sold condition means that the goods are unopened, are in original packaging with all documentation, and the item and it’s packaging are undamaged and unused.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges on clearance/ex-display/sold-as-seen items.
If any promotional items included in the original sale are not returned, the corresponding value or discount of the promotional items will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refund Policy exclusions:
We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange under this policy on the following items: Gift cards, Batteries, headphones, Bitcoin or consumable items.
The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, physical damage, neglect, misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions.
We cannot refund your purchase if the goods were a special order to your specification, or if goods that were ordered are not an item we normally carry.
Finally please note that you will be responsible for all transport costs when returning an item to a store or warehouse

Online Returns Policy
At GSMsolutions we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase made from www.GSMsolutions.ie/shop (our “website”).
We recommend you read our Returns Policy prior to you making a purchase from our website, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your legal rights and remedies.
We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from one of our stores, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.
How to return online purchases.
Subject to the terms set out below, you have the right to cancel your Online Order and return the goods, anytime before and up to fourteen (14) business days starting from the day after the goods are received by you, provided the goods are in perfect condition and the packaging remains in an ‘as new’ state. If an item is been returned because its faulty please state this. Faulty items can be returned up to 30 days for a replacement.
You will be responsible for the cost to return the goods to us. Refunds for shipping/courier cost are not refunded in any circumstance unless we send the wrong item. A full refund of the value of the goods will be made upon our receipt of the returned goods. Customised or personalised goods cannot be refunded or exchanged. We HIGHLY recommend returning an item in person or by registered post or courier were possible to ensure its gets to us, however please note it is your responsibility to cover postage coaster as these are not returned.
Follow these steps to return an item/s.

Note: Items been returned because you the customer have purchased incorrectly can be repalaced providing the item/s been returned are sent back within 30 days with no physical damage, marks or scratches. A return delivery fee will apply to reship the new order.

This Returns Policy is in accordance with The European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7/EC) and the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts made by means of Distance Communication) Regulations 2001 as amended.
Your Consumer Rights
Consumer contracts are protected by the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 (as amended) (“the Act”) and other applicable legislation.

Goods Damaged in Transit
If any goods are delivered to you are damaged, please contact us Email Us within 24 hours days of delivery. We will arrange to have the damaged goods returned investigate why/how the goods were damaged. Damaged items in some cases are covered by our couriers insurance.
It is very important that you contact us with 24 hours of delivery as some couriers delivery insurance can only be covered if damaged item./s are reported within this timeframe.
Refunds will be made by us via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within seven (7) days of receipt by us of the returned goods (as set out herein) or cancellation of the Order as the case may be.
Return of Faulty Goods
You may contact us or visit our store and we will assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspection of the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.

Goods must be returned within 30 days. This timeframe may vary from product to product and you will be advised if you contact us.
Repair of Faulty Goods
Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time frame. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, these times may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s control ie part availability or incorrect fault description.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2007 or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, this fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
If any goods that you return are capable of retaining user generated data such as files stored on a hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile phone and songs stored on a portable media player, the replacement or repair of the goods may result in loss of the data. In these circumstances, we recommend you back up data to prevent data loss, and remove sensitive or confidential data, as a party assessing and/or repairing your goods may be required to view data in the course of carrying out the assessment. We will not be responsible for any data loss.
In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
Use of customers/clients logos:
By using our service or website you agree to grant us permission to use your company or business Logo in any online or printed publication or flyer to show other potential customers that you use our services.
Gold Plating Ireland (c/o GSMsolutions) Terms & Conditions
It is generally recognized that even after employing all the science known to our industry and using capable people with many years of training, there still remain variables in the electroplating and metal finishing fields. In order to avoid misunderstandings, Gold Plating Ireland has adopted the following Terms and Conditions as the custom and usage of the trade. Whilst we take every care with your item, in no event will we be liable for any loss or damage, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from your decision to have your product plated. These conditions apply to all sales/services unless expressly written otherwise.
We assume no responsibility for defective plating or other finish on materials previously plated or finished by others. In the event that results of metal finishing operations are unsatisfactory due to metal imperfections, changes in grade or composition of materials, manufacturing and/or fabrication imperfections, usage for which the plating or other finishing operation was not reasonably designed, and similar variables over which we have no control we accept no responsibility whatsoever. In the event of customer’s cancellation of order, the customer shall reimburse us for the work completed, work in process, and any other expenses incurred in connection with such service.
Due to the nature of the work Gold Plating Ireland undertakes, further charges may apply. This may be due to unforeseen work, changes in the ever fluctuating price of gold, silver etc and any other unforeseen circumstances. Some items may need to be prepared before plating which can include; stripping, degreasing, polishing and pre layers. An example would be Aluminum, to Gold plate Aluminum it needs to be treated with Acetone, Zincate, plated with Copper, plated with Nickel and then finally Gold plated. We generally will prepare an item for free, however, in same cases we are unable to due to the time needed to prepare the item. If this is the case we will notify you of any additional charges before we start and before any cost are incurred.
Under the distance selling regulations, a purchaser has 7 days cooling off period, unless a product is personalized, Gold Plating is classed as personalization and therefore refunds are not provided in any case. Some people may experience and intolerance to silver, nickel or gold. Gold Plating Ireland does not use nickel on items that are worn next to the skin unless requested. however, Gold Plating Ireland cannot be held responsible for intolerances to silver and gold used or nickel present prior to plating.
We provide an estimated delivery time frame only, however, we strive to get your goods back to you in reasonable time. Times may vary depending on workload and you will be advised any changes. Items not collected/shipped within two months will be disposed. By sending your item/s for service you imply that you are the legal owner or have the permission of the legal owner to do so. This is in addition to, and does not affect your statutory rights.

You may not use the GSMsolutions Logo or any other GSMsolutions owned content, Graphic symbol, logo, or icon on or in connection with web sites, products, packaging, manuals, promotional/advertising materials, or for any other purpose except pursuant to an express written trademark license from GSMsolutions, such as a reseller agreement. GSMsolutions provide a Logo & website Use Agreement for companies that wish to use our trademarks. Use of GSMsolutions trademarks is prohibited, unless expressly authorized. To use our logo or trademark please Contact Us to obtain an authorization.
